Expect delays  Due to Solar Eclipse Viewing Traffic - Effective Apr. 6, 2024 to Apr. 8, 2024

Route(s): 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 40, 41, 50, 70, 91, 92, 97 so every route will be delayed. 

Our area is expecting 300,000 to 500,000 visitors to view the Total Solar Eclipse on April 8, 2024. "This many additional people in our area could cause significant traffic delays and make getting from one place to another this day a big hassle."

United Way, Campaign Kickoff

Information about signing up will start at 4:30 am. Snack bags and signup sheet will be handed out. those who sign up will be entered into a raffle. 

Union President John Trott to speak at 12:30

Governor Kathy Hochul today announced a multi-agency plan to address the school bus driver shortage affecting schools across the state. The plan includes short-term steps to remove barriers and recruit traditional and non-traditional Commercial Driver's License holders, expand CDL testing opportunities, and enhance processes all designed to get more drivers into school buses. Additionally, New York State is launching outreach to more than 550,000 CDL license holders in New York State.
