 Get Out the Vote for Demond Meeks This Saturday!
The Rochester Labor Council has been coordinating walks throughout June to support our union brother, Demond Meeks. Before becoming a State Assemblymember, Demond was a longtime organizer with 1199SEIU. He has fought for working people and organized them to take power themselves long before he took to political office. Since getting into office he has been an incredible advocate for working people of Rochester. So we are excited to continue our push to help him win the Democratic Primary for Assembly District 137. Join us for our last walk of the season this Saturday. We will be leaving from AFSCME to walk portions of the district in the 19th ward and Gates. WHERE: AFSCME Council 66 - 1956 Lyell Ave.
